We are about to brew some beer!
Thanks to a really nice guy who lives nearby me we have come into a whole lot of home brew equipment, so we have decided to start brewing various beers, trying them out, and posting about the experience here on Beer Goggle Hell.
Having said that we would like you guys to get in on the fun. If you have a recipe you would like us to try add it to the comments below or send it in directly using the “Ask a Drunk” link at the top of the page.
We will randomly pick a recipe at the beginning of each batch of beer we brew.
We would also love comments on your experiences in brewing beer.

Toasted Coconut! Anything with toasted coconut! I love that shit and I have yet to taste a beer where it’s used, but I’ve heard of one or two brewers using it. Mmmm…..toasted coconut porter….*drool*
Also, jalapenos would be interesting.
That actually sounds really good. I don’t think I have ever had a beer that with a coconut flavor.
Have you had any of the chocolate beers?
Rogue Chocolate Stout (I’ve actually made Chocolate Stout Floats with this on tap and vanilla ice cream before–so delicious,) Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout (@ 10.5% ABV nonetheless!), and then of course the coffee/chocolate hybrids: Rogue Mocha Porter, Bell’s Java Stout. There’s a delicious vanilla porter that used to be available at Albertson’s before the great Publix takeover, but I can’t remember the brewery.
Young’s Chocolate stout is good and Abita Turbo Dog has a hint of chocolate in it.
