If you are reading this after a night of absolute debauchery, then good for you. Not that I condone senseless, beer guzzling, OMG-I-Can’t-Believe-I-Did-That-With-Steve nights, but hey, that will make me a hypocrite.

I’m here to introduce myself as another person with a passion for all things related to beer and it’s hot cousin, liquor. What you can expect from me is to stick around and provide the inebriated readers with loads of juicy tidbits on the latest and greatest beers, beers to buy when you’re on a hotdog and ramen noodles budget, which bars, especially ones in Orlando, FL (where I reside) that have the best specials and so on and so forth. I will even post my most embarrassing and unforgettable (well I forgot, but my friends didn’t) stories of nights that I can’t make up even if I tried.

And for the ladies out there, you are not forgotten. I will have stuff for you too. Being a fellow woman (roar), I know that a lot of us don’t partake in the barley and hops much because, as a beautiful and smart young woman told me today, we don’t know which ones are good. That’s where Lucy Scribe comes into play. You don’t have to look like a prude with your wine coolers or Smirnoff Ice when you’re hanging out with your guy friends. I can teach you how to drink like a man and be a lady. Unlike the lady just below this sentence…

Now here is something you don’t see everyday. This is a temple located in Northeast Thailand that is constructed with over 1.5 Million recycled beer bottles. What do you all think? I think I may have to build myself a Man Cave in the backyard completely out of bottles. I wonder how that would hold up to some of the local storms here in Florida. Anyway this is a great way to recycle and you have to give these Buddhists some serious KUDOS!

Have any of you folks used your empty beer bottles or beer cans for anything unusual? Any ideas on other things we could use beer bottles for?

They ask local authorities to drop off used beer bottles which they then recycle into new structures! What a great way to keep these bottles from going into land fill.

Abbot San Kataboonyo stated, "The more bottles we get the more buildings we make!"

Even the bathrooms are made from these bottles.
