Gwen Conley has a cool job. As Flying Dog Brewery’s sensory goddess — or quality assurance manager — her primary duty is to taste-test lots of good beer. She’s an open boozer, and a talented schmoozer.

On Friday, Conley was our emcee for Prime Street Grille’s five-course beer dinner. More than a 100 people attended the event, which featured five great courses and as many great Flying Dog brews for $50 plus gratuity, a sum that ultimately equaled a very good deal.

Summer will signal the introduction of two new seasonal brews to the Fort Collins Brewery’s growing portfolio of limited release beers. Happy for the summer sunshine yet reluctant to let go of the big beers of winter, FCB crafted two exceptional brews meant to be perfectly quaffable even in the height of summer yet still big, bold and feisty.

So Elizabeerbitch wants to know what she and her friends can use for makeshift shotglasses if they don’t have any.

This is a great question because I just had this issue come up recently and we had a fairly creative solution. If you are fortunate enough to be near a fridge you can grab the egg carton from the fridge (nearly everyones fridge has an egg carton in it)  and cut the individual egg holders out. This isn’t exactly your average shot size, but it is close and everyone will get roughly the same amount in each of their shots. Don’t forget to take the eggs that were in the carton and put them in a bowl or something to place back in the fridge so they don’t go to waste.

I love me some beer, but this is just unacceptable. Back in the day making a beer run used to be tantamount to a college prank, you would think at this day and age people would be a lot wiser to the fact that this kind of behavior is horrid.  You can read the full post here.

Kegbot! Kegerator Monitor and Access control is simply put the greatest thing since sliced bread, at least for us proud owners of a home kegerator. As we all know one of the most frustrating things about having your own kegerator is the inability to measure just how much beer you have left.
